DFCM Construction-Renewal for Expiring Stage I Pre-Qualified Contractors

Background
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is seeking to renew pre-qualification for contractors whose Stage I pre-qualification is nearing expiration. This initiative is part of DFCM's commitment to ensure that all contractors meet the necessary standards and requirements for continued eligibility in bidding on construction projects. The renewal process is mandated by the Utah Procurement Code, which requires verification of contractors every 18 months.

Work Details
Contractors currently pre-qualified under the Stage I Pre-Qualified Bidding Process for General, Electrical, Mechanical, Paving, Roofing, and Site/Civil categories must submit renewal documents. The required documents include:

1) Contractor Registration and Renewal Certification Form;
2) Termination and Debarment Certification;
3) Current Contractor Professional License.

These documents must be submitted as a single PDF file using the standard forms provided in the solicitation document. Contractors must ensure that their submissions are made at least one week but no more than 60 days prior to their expiration date to avoid removal from the pre-qualified list.

Period of Performance
The renewal process is ongoing, with specific deadlines for submission set between one week and 60 days prior to each contractor's expiration date. The solicitation is open from November 29, 2024, until January 31, 2025.
