Background
The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is issuing this solicitation for the construction project involving upgrades to the air handling units at the UVU Rebecca Lockhart Building.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the HVAC system's efficiency and functionality at Utah Valley University located in Orem, Utah.

Work Details
The project involves the removal and replacement of 7 existing air handling units, which will be consolidated into a single new air handling unit (AHU).
Additionally, 2 heat recovery units will be demolished and replaced with a new single unit.
The scope includes the removal, replacement, and installation of new Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems.
The base bid must encompass all work and materials as specified in the project plans and specifications.

Period of Performance
The construction is scheduled to take place from April 16, 2025, through August 18, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Utah Valley University, located in Orem, Utah.
