Background
The Utah Department of Corrections (UDC) aims to provide nutritious, quality meals that meet dietary requirements and comply with health, safety, and sanitation codes while maintaining a high standard of quality to contribute to offender morale. To achieve this goal, commercial kitchen equipment must be fully functioning and operating at maximum capacity at all times.
UDC intends to establish a contract with a qualified commercial parts distributor to provide parts, equipment, and supplies on an as-needed basis.
Work Details
The contract is for the provision of commercial kitchen parts for the Utah Department of Corrections. The solicitation requires an online presence with the capability to place orders, track orders, see past purchases, process returns, and have a catalog online. Additionally, the contractor must be an authorized parts distributor for all major commercial kitchen manufacturers listed on Attachment E- Manufacturer List.
Period of Performance
The contract resulting from this RFP will be for FIVE (5) years.
