Background
The Canyons School District (CSD) is seeking competitive bids for the replacement of a boiler system at Canyon View Elementary. The goal of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to award a contract to a qualified contractor who can provide the necessary services as outlined in the solicitation. This RFB aims to furnish interested suppliers with sufficient information to submit compliant bids while allowing flexibility in bid content.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing the existing heating water boilers and associated pumps with new heating water boilers and pumps, as specified in the project construction drawings. The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and devices necessary for a complete operating and tested installation.
The contractor must schedule boiler inspections and cover all costs associated with certifying the boiler with the state. Additionally, they must coordinate with Rocky Mountain Power for energy conservation incentive payments and ensure that the swap out of existing boilers and pumps occurs within a two-day timeframe, providing temporary heating as needed.
Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence after the pre-bid meeting scheduled for March 30, 2026, with substantial completion dates to be determined during this meeting.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors should have at least five years of commercial boiler service experience and provide references from three similar projects.
