Byu Independent Study Online Suite Of Courses

The Cache County School District (CCSD) is seeking to procure the BYU Independent Study Online Suite of Courses. This procurement involves awarding a contract for these online courses without engaging in a standard competitive bidding process. The work of the contract is to provide access to the BYU Independent Study Online Suite of Courses as specified by the requesting department within CCSD. The contract is intended to ensure that students and staff have access to these specific online educational resources. The Cache County School District Purchasing Department is the entity requesting this procurement. The Purchasing Department has received a request from a department within CCSD to proceed with a non-competitive contract award for the BYU Independent Study Online Suite of Courses. This notice is issued in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code. The requesting department has submitted justification for bypassing the standard procurement process, which may include reasons such as there being only one source for the procurement item, significant transitional costs, or other circumstances as outlined by applicable rules that render a standard procurement process impractical and not in the best interest of CCSD. To be considered, any interested and qualified vendors must submit the following information: the name of the contesting qualified vendor, a detailed explanation and documentation demonstrating the existence of other competing sources for the procurement item, documentation that the vendor can provide a comparable or superior procurement item that meets or exceeds the specifications, and documentation that the vendor can provide the same proprietary procurement item or an equivalent. If transitional costs are cited as justification, a cost comparison of the identified transitional costs with the vendor's anticipated transitional costs must also be submitted. All submissions must be made regardless of any prior communications with CCSD. The purpose of this notice is to determine if there are any other interested and qualified vendors who can meet the specifications outlined in this notice.
