American Fork Police Station Third Floor TI

Background
The American Fork Police Department is seeking bids for the remodel of the third floor of their police station. The goal of the contract is to renovate an area of 9,596 square feet within the existing third floor, which has a total area of 12,812 square feet. The building footprint and site will remain unchanged, ensuring that certain existing spaces will not be altered.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the remodel including:
- demolition
- new wall framing
- installation of gypsum drywall
- insulation
- floor covering
- painting
- electrical work
- mechanical systems
- plumbing installations
- installation of doors and windows.

Specific areas that will remain unchanged include two restrooms, a media storage room, an air shaft, an electrical room, secure vest areas, stairs, and elevators.

Period of Performance
The project timeline will commence upon issuance of the building permit and execution of the agreement between the owner and contractor. The exact duration for completion is to be specified in the bid documents.

Bidder Requirements
