2026 Overlay Project

Background
The 2026 West Jordan Roadway Overlay Project is initiated by the city of West Jordan, aimed at improving the infrastructure of key collector streets. The project focuses on enhancing road safety and accessibility for the community, aligning with the city's mission to maintain and upgrade public roadways.

Work Details
The work includes the overlay of up to five collector streets: 5600 West, 7800 South, Prosperity Road, Old Bingham Highway, and Gardner Lane. Specific tasks involve:
- Milling and overlaying portions of these streets;
- Lowering and raising utility manholes, valves, and monuments;
- Replacing ADA ramps;
- Repairing or replacing curb and sidewalk;
- Installing traffic markings and striping according to provided plans.

Notably, work on Old Bingham Highway and Gardner Lane must occur after school ends in June and be completed before school begins in August. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits to perform the work, adhering to UTA and UDOT requirements.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that includes general liability limits matching contract coverage as verified via AM Best. Additional insured endorsements are required for ongoing operations. Contractors must ensure compliance with all insurance requirements throughout the project duration.
