2026 Cipp Sewer Rehabilitation Projects

Background
The 2026 CIPP Sewer Rehabilitation Projects are being issued by the Mt. Olympus Improvement District, which is responsible for maintaining and improving the sewer infrastructure within its service area. The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate significant portions of the sewer system to ensure its functionality and longevity, thereby supporting public health and environmental standards.

Work Details
The work consists of video inspection, cleaning, and CIPP rehabilitation of approximately 9,100 linear feet (l.f.) of 8" sewer main and 568 l.f. of 10" sewer main. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for reinstating approximately 180 services, bypass pumping, obtaining necessary permits, and implementing traffic control measures. Specific tasks include:
- Pre-construction CCTV inspection and cleaning of 9,668 l.f. of sewer main.
- Trenchless repair using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) for both 8" (9,100 l.f.) and 10" (568 l.f.) diameter sewer mains.
- Service lateral reconnections on both sizes of sewer main (180 connections).
- Post-construction CCTV inspection of the sewer main.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed by October 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
All work will be conducted within the service area of the Mt. Olympus Improvement District located in Millcreek, Utah.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid price as a guarantee. Contractors who have not worked in the District within the last five years may be required to submit additional documentation including experience and references for at least three projects of similar scope completed in that timeframe. Bidders must also comply with Utah's E-Verify law regarding employee status verification.
