2025 Street Light Project

Background
The 2025 Street Light Project is initiated by West Valley City, aimed at enhancing the street lighting infrastructure within the city.
The project involves the installation of new street light systems to improve safety and visibility in public areas.
This initiative aligns with the city's mission to provide a safe and well-lit environment for its residents.

Work Details
The contract includes the following work items:
- Schedule A: Removal of 47 existing street light poles and fixtures along Lake Park Blvd from Parkway Blvd to 4800 West.
Installation of three new power pedestals at existing power sources.
Installation of a new street light system comprising 45 street lights and approximately 10,600 feet of conduit and aluminum wire.
- Schedule B: Installation of 54 new street lights at various neighborhood locations throughout West Valley City, including necessary conduit, aluminum wire, and points of disconnect.
Additionally, one existing street light will be removed.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 240 days after the award of the contract.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed in various locations throughout West Valley City, Utah.
