Background
The City of Georgetown is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, firms, or corporations with substantial experience to provide support services for the Workday enterprise resource planning system. The City has been utilizing Workday since 2018 and aims to enhance its post-implementation support structure. The goal is to ensure effective management of financial and payroll operations through expert assistance in various areas such as business process analysis, feature enhancements, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Work Details
The successful consultant will provide a range of Workday Support Services including:
1) Business process support such as workflow optimization and troubleshooting;
2) Report writing support including creating and modifying reports;
3) Integration and cross-application support involving Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and integration with other financial systems;
4) Security support for configuring security profiles;
5) Release management assistance for evaluating new functionality in Workday releases;
6) Implementation of new functionalities and customized support for fiscal year-end activities.
Specific existing SKUs include Payroll for US Employees, Core Financials, Grants Management, Planning, Projects, Time Tracking, Expenses, Procurement, Inventory, and Workday Success Plan.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year with the possibility of up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed remotely as required by the City of Georgetown.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must be designated as a Workday Service Partner and comply with all federal, state, and local laws. They are required to provide evidence of their qualifications including experience with similar projects in the last three years. Additionally, they must certify that they are not engaged in business with Iran or Sudan or any foreign terrorist organization.
