Window and Door Repair Services at Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for as-needed window and door maintenance and repair services at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center. This initiative aims to ensure the proper upkeep of facilities utilized by individuals with disabilities, thereby supporting the agency's mission of providing health and human services in Texas. Both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) will have access to any contracts awarded from this Invitation for Bids (IFB).

Work Details
The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for windows and doors, including but not limited to: glass replacement, installation, maintenance, and repair services for both metal and wood windows, as well as doors. The contractor must respond to service calls within 24 hours and perform emergency repairs within specified timeframes. Services are to be conducted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with provisions for after-hours work upon prior approval.

The contractor must also ensure that all personnel are trained, qualified, and possess relevant experience in performing these tasks.

Services will be performed at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center located at 902 Airport Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in providing similar services. Personnel assigned must have at least two years of relevant experience. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a completed Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Subcontracting Plan (HSP) as part of their response. All personnel must undergo background checks prior to commencing work on state property.
