WIC Community Meal Kits Rebid

Background
The City of Austin is issuing this contract to provide food for the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) food access project known as 'Nutrition on the Go'.

The goal is to distribute meal kits to approximately 100 families each month from various WIC sites, ensuring that each kit can feed at least four people.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing perishable items listed in the bid sheet on a monthly basis.

Non-perishable items may be delivered less frequently and their quantities may vary based on need. The contractor must deliver items on dates and times designated by City staff. If any ordered items are out of stock, the contractor must notify City staff within 2-3 business days for approval of substitutions.

The quantities listed in the bid sheet are estimated totals for the entire year and may change based on consumer feedback. City staff will coordinate order details and designate delivery times.

Period of Performance
The contract will become effective upon execution by the City and will remain in effect until all deliverables are complete or until terminated by the City.

Place of Performance
Delivery shall be made to Austin Public Health located at 6800 Burleson Rd., Bldg. 310, Suite 295, Austin, TX 78744 during operational hours of Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
