Background
San Jacinto Community College District is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms to provide welding consumables and supplies. The college is a public community college district organized under Chapter 130 of the Texas Education Code and is tax exempt in the State of Texas.

Work Details
The scope of work covers the requirements to provide SJCCD with welding consumables and supplies on an as-needed basis. The estimated average annual expenditure for welding supplies and consumables is $100,000. The products specified include various welding consumables and supplies, such as welding rods, gas diffuser, MIG gun, plasma electrode, stick electrode, GMAW wire, UltraCore, carbon steel alloy, stainless alloy, and more.
Special requirements include:
- Delivery within three business days after receipt of an approved College purchase order
- Contracted percentage discount remaining in effect during each respective one-year term of the contract
- Product pricing adjustments based on market volatility and tariffs
- Delivery to multiple college locations.

Period of Performance
The contract term for contract(s) awarded from this solicitation will be one (1) year with renewal options of four (4) one-year time periods.

Place of Performance
The awarded supplier(s) may be required to deliver to several locations throughout the district including District Offices, Central Campus, North Campus, South Campus, Maritime, Generation Park Campus, and Edge Center.
