Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids to establish a purchase order for the procurement of welder machines. The TDCJ's mission includes ensuring the safety and security of the public and providing rehabilitation opportunities for offenders. The contract involves the procurement of three (3) Precision TIG 375 Ready-Pak Welders from Lincoln Electric, specifically model K2618-1. The specifications for the welder include:

- Rated Output: 275A at 31% duty cycle
- Input Current at Rated Output: 60A/72A/36A with PFC; 104A/94A/47A without PFC
- Output Range: DC: 2 - 340A; AC: 2 - 340A; Max Open Circuit Voltage: 75V
- Dimensions: Minimum - 40.7" x 28" x 41"; Maximum - 62" x 40" x 53"
- Wet Weight: Minimum - 641 lbs; Maximum - 765 lbs

Features include an under-cooler cart, water cooler, foot amptrol, gas regulator/flowmeter, and a built-in storage compartment for torch consumables. The successful bidder must provide the manufacturer's standard warranty upon delivery.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all items are delivered and accepted by TDCJ.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the welder machines is specified as the Copfield Unit Metal Fabrication located at 2661 FM 2054 West, Tennessee Colony, TX.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable state statutes and regulations regarding procurement. They must not be suspended or debarred from receiving state contracts and must not be listed on the Federal Government's Terrorism Watch List. Bidders are also required to provide proof of compliance with E-Verify requirements and must submit a valid Texas Identification Number (TIN). Additionally, bidders should ensure that they do not have any outstanding debts to the State of Texas.
