Background
The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking competitive sealed proposals from General Contractors to modernize the National Guard Readiness Center (RC) facility in Weatherford, Texas. The total estimated cost of this project is $2,750,000.00. General Contractors must request the Drawings/Plans and Specifications electronically in digital format via email. Vendors MUST attend one of the two MANDATORY site visits at 10:00 AM CT, Thursday, June 13, 2024, OR 10:00 AM CT, Friday, June 14, 2024, at 716 Charles Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Failure to attend one of the two site visits will result in disqualification of the response. Competitive Sealed Proposals for TMD24-CFMO-0035207 Weatherford RC MM STAR Project will be received by the TMD until 10:00 AM CT, Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
Work Details
The work includes interior building improvements such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire suppression, and IT/telecom trades.
Exterior building improvements include site civil and utility modifications including asphalt & concrete pavement,
concrete ramp & walkways,
new water fire suppression line,
fencing,
and site lighting.
Period of Performance
Construction is required to commence on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued within 90 days of the contract award.
