Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD) is seeking proposals for a Wearable Panic Button Device to enhance safety across multiple campuses and departments. The goal of this contract is to establish a system that allows teachers and staff to discreetly and instantly activate alerts in emergency situations, integrating with existing safety protocols and technology.
Work Details
The vendor will provide a wearable badge button solution that includes a button, speaker, light, and battery. The system must:
- Integrate with the district’s identity providers for customizable user roles and automated provisioning.
- Ensure 99.5% uptime and encrypt data in transit and at rest.
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
