Water Softener System with Installation

Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids for the procurement of a new water softener system with installation. This initiative aims to replace the existing water softener system to ensure better water quality and service within its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the dismantlement and removal of the current water softener system, which includes:

1. Current triple progressive softener system
2. Microprocessor/digital display controller
3. Three (3) 24-inch x 72-inch free pressure vessels
4. All associated piping, valves, resin, controllers, enclosures, sensors, gauges, and brine storage tank.

The new system to be installed is a Culligan Top Mount Series, Item #: CTM-300 Triplex Softener with Brine System or an agency-approved equal. The pricing must include softener salt, all plumbing materials and equipment, freight, and labor for installation.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at the Dalhart Unit Maintenance Department located at 11950 FM 996, Dalhart, TX 79022.
