Wastewater System Improvements 24 /27 Sanitary Sewer Line Manhole Replacement

Background
The City of Highland Village, Texas is issuing a solicitation for the 24”/27” Sanitary Sewer Line Manhole Replacement Project. This project aims to improve the wastewater system in the city, ensuring better infrastructure and service delivery to residents.

The plans and specifications for this project have been prepared by Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. (SPI).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the replacement of manholes associated with the 24”/27” sanitary sewer line. This includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the project as per the provided plans and specifications.

Bids must include a cashier's check or certified check for at least 5% of the total bid price or a bid bond from a reliable surety company. Additionally, a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond (valid for two years post-acceptance) will be required, each amounting to 100% of the total contract value.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a timeline specified in the contract documents. Bids are due by April 2, 2026.

The work will be performed in Highland Village, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Contractor’s Certificate of Insurance that includes specific provisions such as adding the City as an additional insured and ensuring that policies cannot be canceled without prior notice.
