Wall & Avenue C Lift Station Rehabilitation (REBID

Background
The City of Beaumont is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of the existing Wall & Avenue C lift station. The goal of this contract is to ensure the lift station is updated and maintained in accordance with the provided plans and specifications, contributing to the city's infrastructure and public utility services.

Work Details
The contract includes all necessary superintendence, labor, equipment, tools, materials, painting, safety measures, environmental protection, disposal of surplus items, site restoration, and all other related construction for the proposed lift station. Specific tasks include:

1) Mobilization;
2) Construction of a 20' x 14' pre-fabricated concrete control building;
3) Removal of existing electrical and controls;
4) Installation of new electrical and controls;
5) Installation of an 8ft chain link fence with gates;
6) Removal and replacement of existing submersible pumps;
7) Replacement of existing piping inside the wet well;
8) Coating the interior of the wet well;
9) Extending the existing concrete driveway;
10) Installing Bypass Ports on the existing force main;
11) Providing bypass pumping as required;
12) Removal and replacement of a 2 Ton Detroit Bridge Crane Hoist; and
13) Allowance for electrical service installation charges.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins upon award and continues until all work is completed as per the specifications outlined in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Wall & Avenue C lift station located in Beaumont, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a completed bid summary, corporate resolution, bid bond with a visible seal, information required of bidder forms, conflict of interest questionnaire, statement on conflict of interest provisions, insurance requirement affidavit (including builder's risk insurance), Schedule C for MBE participation (if applicable), HB1295 acknowledgment, HB89 form verification, and local bidder consideration claim.
