Utility Engineering, San Antonio District, Districtwide

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking to enter into five indefinite deliverable contracts for Utility Engineering services specifically for the San Antonio District. This initiative is in accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, and 43 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §§9.30-9.42.

The primary goal of these contracts is to enhance utility engineering capabilities within the district, with an approximate budget of $1,500,000 allocated for each contract.

Work Details
The services to be provided under this contract include:
- Utility Engineering services for the San Antonio District, which may also extend to other districts as required.

The work categories specified include:
- Geographic Information System (GIS) and Data Analysis (10%)
- Design Survey (8%)
- Construction Survey (8%)
- Subsurface Utility Engineering (Utility Engineering Investigation) (31%)
- Utility Adjustment Coordination (10%)
- Utility Engineering (10%)
- Utility Construction Management and Verification (5%)
- Utility Management & Coordination Oversight (10%)
- Utility Relocation Design (8%).

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution and will continue until all services are completed or until the allocated budget is exhausted.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance of the contract will be within the San Antonio District; however, work may also be required in other districts as needed.
