TxDOT Aviation Division- Notice to Consultants

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), through its Aviation Division, is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional services related to the Mineral Wells Regional Airport.
The City of Mineral Wells is the airport sponsor, and the goal of this contract is to engage a qualified firm to prepare a drainage study and drainage improvement plan as part of TxDOT's commitment to enhance airport infrastructure.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for:
1. Preparing a Preliminary Drainage Study Report which includes attending a kick-off meeting, obtaining and analyzing necessary survey and geotechnical data, and preparing a comprehensive draft drainage study report.
2. Finalizing the Drainage Study which involves attending project meetings, providing infrastructure recommendations, preliminary design and construction cost estimates, and delivering the final drainage study with improvement exhibits and a capital improvement plan.
The project requires that a Licensed Professional Engineer registered in Texas drafts, signs, and seals the drainage study component.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be defined based on the proposed project schedule submitted by the responding firm, indicating the number of weeks required to complete each task/phase.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Mineral Wells Regional Airport located in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must demonstrate capability to perform all services required for this project with relevant professional qualifications of key personnel.
Additionally, firms must have recent experience in developing airport plans and drainage studies comparable to this project.
A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 6% participation is set for this contract.
