TxDOT Aviation Division- Notice to Bidders

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division is issuing this solicitation for the construction of airport improvements at Moore County Airport. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities at the airport, thereby supporting the agency's mission to provide safe and efficient transportation systems.

Work Details
The construction work primarily consists of apron expansion at Moore County Airport. Bidders are required to examine bidding documents available at Hi-Plains Civil Engineers, LLC located at 4537 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, Texas 79110.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas. Additionally, bidders must submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) with their bid to maximize utilization of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs). Minimum wage rates have been predetermined as required by law and are included in the specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be performed until completion. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on April 23, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Moore County Airport, located at 5932 US-87, Dumas, TX 79029.
