Description

The Spring Independent School District ("District") requests competitive sealed proposals for the purpose of identifying a vendor(s) to supply Tutorial Services to support the needs of the District, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications established within this Request for Proposals (RFP).
Proposals are due on or before 12:00 pm (CST) on NOVEMBER 22, 2024. An award recommendation will be made at the Spring ISD Board of Trustees meeting scheduled on February 11, 2025. If the award recommendation is approved, the initial term of this contract ("Contract") will be for one (1) year from FEBRUARY 12, 2025, through FEBRUARY 11, 2026. Thereafter, the District reserves the right to either renew the contract annually for up to four (4) additional one-year terms ("Renewal Terms") or to extend the contract on a month-to-month basis to prevent a lapse in the contract term until the District re-bids the Contract.
Total estimated value of this contract is greater than $50,000 annually, depending on the District's needs over the contract period.

Background
The Spring Independent School District (SISD) serves nearly 34,000 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students in a diverse and growing district located 20 miles north of downtown Houston, Texas.

The District is seeking competitive sealed proposals to identify vendors capable of providing Tutorial Services aimed at enhancing student academic performance and engagement in subjects such as reading, mathematics, social studies, and science.

Work Details
The selected vendor(s) will provide tutorial services that include:
- Curriculum and programs targeted to essential skills in reading, math, science, and/or social studies.
- Personalized high-quality educational support delivered at the school with a flexible schedule determined by the campus.
- Individual and group progress reports available upon request.
- Tutors who start at the beginning of the program and continue through the intervention.
- Instructional models that may be online or in-person, utilizing data-driven programs based on research and best practices.
- Small class sizes (no more than 8 students per class) based on learning needs with instruction aligned to State and District standards.

Period of Performance
The initial term of this contract will be for one year from February 12, 2025, through February 11, 2026.

The District reserves the right to renew the contract annually for up to four additional one-year terms or extend it on a month-to-month basis until re-bidding occurs.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the Spring Independent School District facilities located in Houston, Texas.
