THC IFB 808-24-242938 Levi Jordan Plantation Water System Improvement Services

Background
The Texas Historical Commission (THC) issues this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified firms to improve the water systems at the Learning Center located at the Levi Jordan Plantation Historic Site in Brazoria, Texas.

The THC is responsible for preserving and interpreting Texas history through its historic sites. This project aims to enhance the facilities at this significant location.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, and complete plumbing infrastructure necessary to upgrade the water systems to the Learning Center.

All work must comply with local and state codes, as well as standards set by the Texas Historical Commission. The contractor is required to visit the project site and meet with the THC Project Manager and Architect/Engineer of Record to review project scope and existing conditions. The work includes but is not limited to:
- Upgrading plumbing infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance with building life/safety codes
- Adhering to historical preservation standards
- Providing a warranty on all installed products and a one-year warranty on workmanship.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award or last signature date and will terminate on or before August 31, 2025. There is an option for one additional one-year term by written amendment.
