Texas A&M- Texarkana Eagle Landing Phase II: Student Housing Construction or Modular Units

Background
Texas A&M University-Texarkana is soliciting proposals for the development of Eagle Landing Phase II, a student housing project on the TAMUT campus. The goal of this project is to construct traditional or custom student housing or deliver modular student housing units that meet the university's housing needs while adhering to all applicable state and Texas A&M system standards. The university aims to contract with a single company that has demonstrated competence in providing these services.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of 10 residential units, each capable of accommodating 2-4 students per bedroom. Layout options include two-bedroom or four-bedroom units, each with a common living area and bathrooms to support all residents.

The proposal must address:
- Laundry facilities (centralized or in-unit)
- Electric heating and cooling systems
- Fiber network connections
- Compliance with fire safety protocols including sprinkler systems and fire alarms.

All necessary engineering, infrastructure connections, and site preparations must be included in the proposal. The housing solution must be 'move-in ready' by July 31, 2025.

Period of Performance
The original contract period will commence from the date of award for one year, with an option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods if mutually agreed upon by all parties.
