Terrell Unit - Install HVAC- Inmate Housing

Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking proposals for the installation of a new HVAC system with emergency power connections in the Inmate Housing at the Terrell Unit located in Rosharon, Texas.
This project aims to enhance the living conditions within the facility, aligning with TDCJ's mission to ensure safe and humane environments for inmates.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete HVAC system installation, including all necessary materials and labor.
The project has an estimated budget of $8,055,500.00 and requires an itemized breakdown of costs associated with materials, labor, overhead, and profit.
The contractor must also comply with specifications regarding recycled materials as mandated by TDCJ.
All installations must meet safety and operational standards as outlined in the provided specifications and drawings.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract is set at 450 days, commencing upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
Mobilization must begin within 30 days of this notice, with actual work starting within 45 days.
