Background
The City of Garland, Texas, is seeking bids for a Term Contract for Maintenance and Repair of Wastewater Treatment Plants. The purpose of this contract is to establish a blanket agreement for one term with four optional renewals to manage light construction projects and assist with heavy mechanical projects, as well as necessary repairs and maintenance services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services including:
1) Assistance in small construction projects such as installation of piping modifications, valves, pumps, motors, blowers, removal of pumping pads and repour for new installations.
2) Repair of heavy mechanical equipment including pumps, blowers, clarifier center columns, clarifier drives, clarifier rake mechanisms, sludge augers, trickling filters, grit classifiers, and bar screens.
The work will be performed at two locations: Duck Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 750 Duck Creek Way; Sunnyvale, Texas 75182 and Rowlett Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 2500 East Centerville Road; Garland Texas 75040.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will last for one term with four optional renewals. The initial term is expected to begin after the closing date of December 18, 2025.
Place of Performance
Work will be performed at the Duck Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Sunnyvale, Texas and the Rowlett Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Garland, Texas.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a complete bid on all items; partial bids will not be accepted. Valid Certificates of Insurance are required prior to award. Bidders must also complete forms such as the Contractor's Qualification and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (CIQ). Additionally, vendors must comply with the City’s standard terms and conditions.
