Background
Collin County Community College District (Collin College) is seeking proposals for a Telehealth Platform that provides virtual 24/7 urgent-care medical services, psychiatric services, and immediate mental health crisis support. The goal is to enhance student retention and well-being by reducing barriers to care and ensuring rapid response to acute medical and behavioral health needs.
As of April 1, 2026, there are approximately 1,463 part-time employees and 39,690 students enrolled in credit classes. The District intends to award this RFP on or around June 24, 2026, for a one-year term with potential renewals contingent upon mutual agreement and Board approval.
Work Details
The selected vendor will provide timely access to urgent care medical evaluation and treatment, telepsychiatry services, and immediate mental health crisis intervention delivered by licensed clinicians. Services must be designed for students, part-time faculty, and staff for conditions that can be safely diagnosed and treated virtually.
Implementation processes must be complete by September 1, 2026.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award on or around June 24, 2026, with implementation required by September 1, 2026. The initial term is one year with options for renewal based on mutual agreement.

Services will be provided virtually; however, the administrative operations will be managed from Collin County Community College District's facilities located at CHEC, 3452 Spur 399, McKinney, TX.
