Background
The Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP# 25/049MF) for Technology Asset Solutions. This initiative aims to provide technology products and services that meet the needs of HCDE and its cooperative purchasing division, Choice Partners. The goal is to enhance educational resources and support for various educational institutions and governmental entities.

Work Details
The RFP consists of two parts:

- Part A focuses on HCDE's specific technology needs.
- Part B addresses the broader requirements for Technology Equipment, Supplies, and Services for HCDE and its members.

Proposers must respond to both parts to be considered. The contract will include compliance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring that all products and services meet or exceed industry quality levels. Vendors are expected to provide detailed specifications of their offerings, including pricing structures and delivery timelines.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one calendar year, with options for up to four additional one-year renewals at HCDE's discretion. There may also be a transitional period of 90 days added at the end of the initial or any renewal term.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations as determined by HCDE and its members throughout Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with specific certifications such as HUB (Historically Underutilized Business), MWBE (Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise), or SBE (Small Business Enterprise). They must also demonstrate financial capability, provide references from previous clients, submit a Quality Assurance/Quality Control plan, and include an environmental policy. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the HCDE eBid system.
