TDCJ-Chronic Static Water Flea Testing.

Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids to establish a blanket purchase order for the procurement of chronic static water flea testing. This initiative is part of TDCJ's ongoing efforts to ensure environmental compliance and safety within its facilities.

Work Details
The contract includes the following services:

1. Chronic Static Water Flea Testing (Ceriodaphnia dubia) - Quarterly, 12 units.
2. Chronic Static 7 Day Larval Survival and Growth Testing (Fathead Minnow, Pimephales promelas) - Semi-Annually, 12 units.
3. Acute 24 Hour Static Toxicity Testing for Water Flea (Daphnia pulex) - Semi-Annually, 2 units.
4. Acute 24 Hour Static Toxicity Testing for Fathead Minnow (Pimephales promelas) - Semi-Annually, 2 units.

The testing will be conducted at specified locations including BETO Unit Maintenance in Tennessee Colony, TX; Coffield Unit Maintenance in Tennessee Colony, TX; and Terrell Unit Maintenance in Rosharon, TX.

Period of Performance
The term of this blanket purchase order is from September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026, with an option to renew for one additional year from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various TDCJ facilities located in Tennessee Colony and Rosharon, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including providing proof of insurance coverage that protects TDCJ against claims arising from services performed by the vendor. Additionally, bidders must not have been suspended or debarred from doing business with state or federal government entities.
