Swimming pools maintenance and repairs for the Mexia State Supported Living Center, Mexia, Texas

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system.

The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for swimming pools maintenance and repairs at the Mexia State Supported Living Center, which is part of HHS Region No. #7.

Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The services required under this contract include maintenance and repairs of swimming pools at the Mexia State Supported Living Center. This encompasses swimming pool water treatment services as specified in NIGP Class/Item No(s): 912-63.

The contractor must provide all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance of these services. Additionally, the contractor must respond to service calls within four hours during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and within one hour for emergency requests.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon award, with services to be performed as needed throughout the duration of the contract.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Mexia State Supported Living Center located at 424 Mesquite Dr., Mexia, TX 76667.
