Substation Switchgear, Indoor Arc-Resistant

Background
Austin Energy, a department of the City of Austin, is seeking to establish a multi-year Master Agreement with a contractor for the procurement of Indoor, Arc-Resistant Substation Switchgear.
This initiative aims to enhance the operational capabilities of Austin Energy's substations, ensuring they meet modern safety and efficiency standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing Indoor Arc-Resistant Substation Switchgear that complies with the specifications outlined in Attachments 1 and 2 of the solicitation.
The switchgear must be suitable for use in the United States electric utility market and must meet specific design and performance criteria.
Offerors must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience in producing similar switchgear and provide at least twenty units as evidence of capability.
Additionally, compliance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements is mandatory, including registration under the Industrial Housing and Building program.
Offerors must also provide detailed materials specifications/descriptive literature for all products offered, ensuring they conform to solicitation requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all obligations are fulfilled.
The City reserves the right to extend the contract beyond its initial term at their discretion.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place within the City of Austin's jurisdiction, specifically at various Austin Energy substations.
