Storm Shelter Peer Review

Background
The Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) is seeking qualified firms to provide Storm Shelter Peer Review Services as part of the FWISD 2021 Capital Improvement Program.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and compliance of storm shelters within the district's facilities.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for conducting peer reviews of storm shelter designs and plans, ensuring they meet all applicable codes and standards.
This includes evaluating structural integrity, safety features, and compliance with local regulations.
The RFQ is for qualification only; specific projects have not been defined at this stage, and no pricing should be provided during this process.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence from the date of award and extend until December 31, 2027, with an option to renew for three additional years in one-year increments.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at various locations within the Fort Worth Independent School District in Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:
- Certification of non-discrimination
- Criminal background checks for employees working on district property
- Adherence to local government regulations regarding contracting.
Additionally, bidders must not be indebted to the school district and must certify that they do not boycott Israel or discriminate against firearm industries.
