Stereomicroscope and accessories FSD

Background
The City of Austin is issuing this Invitation for Quotation (IFQ 9000 JG1032) to procure two stereomicroscopes and associated accessories for the Forensic Science Department.
The purpose of this contract is to facilitate firearms examinations, which are critical to the agency's mission of ensuring public safety and effective law enforcement.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of the following items:
- 2 each – Ivesta 3 (Integrated camera) Mfr.# 10450981, including features such as a 12mm Depth of Field with Fusion Optics, a 122 mm standard working distance, fully encoded zoom, and a 4K resolution integrated camera.
- 4 each – Eyepiece 10x/23B, adjustable eyeglasses Mfr. # 10447137.
- 2 each - Power cable, 2 m, USA, Mfr. # 10445661.
- 2 each - Focus drive 500 mm M-Series Routine, Mfr. # 10450172.
- 2 each - Microscope carrier, Mfr. # 10450173 with interface 76mm.
- 2 each - Incandescent light base with AntiShock feet, Mfr. # 10447342.
- 2 each - Leica LED3000 RL, Mfr. # 10450271.
- Additional items include power supplies, polarization sets, dust covers, and shipping/freight costs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon execution by the City and will remain in effect until all deliverables are completed or the City terminates the contract.

Place of Performance
Delivery is to be made to the Forensic Science Department located at 812 Springdale, Austin, TX 78702.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that all quoted items meet or exceed City of Austin specifications and must submit quotes on an FOB Destination basis with all freight charges included in the item price.
The City is exempt from Federal Excise and State Sales Tax; therefore, tax must not be included in the quoted price.
