Statewide Tower Replacement

Background
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) of the State of Texas is soliciting proposals for turn-key radio communication tower services to support various statewide site projects. The goal is to design, construct, maintain, improve, decommission, or expand its radio communications infrastructure. This contract aims to ensure a comprehensive system ready for DPS use upon implementation.

Work Details
The contractor will provide complete end-to-end services necessary for a turn-key radio tower communication solution. This includes:

- Site evaluations
- Investigations
- Analysis
- Recommendations
- Cost and time estimates
- Testing
- Reports and studies
- Designs (including drawings in AutoCAD/Revit)
- Field inspections
- Demolition and cleanup services
- Site preparation and construction of new tower sites.

The contractor must coordinate with DPS on project specifics and provide all necessary documentation. Services must comply with industry standards and all applicable laws. Each project will require a written proposal from the contractor after an initial meeting with DPS representatives. Liquidated damages of $1,500 per day will be assessed for delays beyond the agreed schedule.

Period of Performance
The contract term commences on the effective date stated in the signing document and expires five years from that effective date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various statewide locations across Texas.
