SSC 2024-06418 School of Rural Public Health Repair/Replace Hail Damaged Roof

Background
This contract is issued on behalf of SSC by Texas A&M University, focusing on the repair and replacement of hail-damaged roofs at the School of Public Health. The goal is to restore the integrity of the roofing systems in buildings A, B, and C, which are critical for the university's mission to provide quality education and research in public health.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Scarify 2.5 inches of the existing foam roof;
- Apply 2 inches of new foam insulation;
- Install an impact-resistant coating;
- Apply a silicone coating with granules to enhance durability and weather resistance.

The work will take place on buildings 1518, 1519, and 1520 at the College Station campus.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to start on July 1, 2025, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the School of Public Health located in College Station, TX, specifically in buildings A, B, and C (BLDS 1518, 1519, 1520).

Bidder Requirements
A HUB Subcontracting Plan is required for this project. Monthly HUB Progress Assessment Reports (PARs) must be submitted with each pay application.
