EVEN IF YOU ARE ALREADY AN AWARDED VENDOR ON RFP #2832(A-E)-21 PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS RFP. Lewisville Independent School District ("LISD, "District") is accepting proposals for qualified persons and/or companies to provide various Special Education Contracted Services in accordance with federal and state regulations, including the Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). These services shall be purchased on an "As Needed" basis, with LISD making the sole determination of need. Multiple provider awards are anticipated to provide LISD with a variety of resources for needed services. Services requested include, but not limited to: evaluation, consultation, and direct services. All interested vendors, including sole source providers, are encouraged to respond to this request for proposal in its entirety and should submit all required bid attachments regardless of sole source status to be considered. Missing or incomplete information will have a negative impact on vendor evaluations. This request for proposal is being issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200 requirements to procure vendors who provide services purchased by LISD using federal dollars. This proposal may also be used with local, state, federal and grant funded programs. RFP #F1086-25 shall be awarded at District discretion, to multiple Proposers supplying comparable services, also known as a multiple award schedule, or award the Contract to a single Proposer. The District's decision to make multiple awards or a single award will be based upon the District's sole discretion regarding the type of service that provides best value to The District. The anticipated term of this proposal shall be from September 2025 - September 2027. Dependent on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties, and contingent on approval by the LISD Board of Trustees, there will be two successive renewal options, each consisting of a two year term. Specific job titles sought include: Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Audiologists, Music Therapists, Therapy Assistants, Licensed Professional Counselors, School Psychologists, Licensed Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Educational Diagnosticians, School Counselors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Special Education Teachers, Teachers of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing, Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Sign Language Interpreters, Adaptive Physical Education Teachers, Certified School Nurses, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs), Behavioral Technicians, Paraprofessionals and Instructional Aides.
The contract will also cover Full and Individual Initial Evaluation Services (FIEs) and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs).
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is anticipated to be from September 2025 to September 2027.
There are two optional renewal periods of two years each: the second term from September 2027 to September 2029 and the third term from September 2029 to September 2031.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Lewisville Independent School District in Texas.
Bidder Requirements
Vendors must submit all required bid attachments including a W-9 form and proof of insurance.
Vendors must also comply with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200 requirements for procurement using federal funds.
Additionally, vendors must certify that they do not have any affiliation with abortion providers or foreign terrorist organizations as per Texas Government Code Chapter 2272.
