Solid Waste Collection and Recycling Services

Background
The Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District (the 'District') is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for solid waste collection and recycling services. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective refuse collection from residential accounts and District facilities, as well as proper disposal and recycling of materials.

The District does not require services for commercial establishments, which are responsible for their own waste management.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and services necessary to:
- Collect refuse from residential accounts and District facilities;
- Transport collected refuse to an authorized disposal site;
- Ensure proper disposal;
- Provide curbside collection;
- Process and market designated recyclables.

Specific service expectations include:
- Weekly curbside collection of refuse (up to 96-gallon containers);
- Bi-weekly recycling collection;
- Provision of 96-gallon trash and recycle carts at no additional charge;
- Handling of special pick-up requests;
- Two annual bulk item pick-ups per year;
- Customer service reporting on complaints and service changes.

Additionally, the contractor will provide refuse collection services at District facilities at no extra cost.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on October 1, 2025, and will run for three years until September 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District in Round Rock, Texas.
