Background
The City of Austin is seeking quotes for a Solar Streetlight Trial under the solicitation IFQ 1100 BAS1058. The initiative aims to enhance public lighting through solar technology, aligning with the city's sustainability goals. The contract will involve the procurement of specific solar streetlight components to be installed at designated locations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following items:

1. Solar Streetlight Luminaire: BFL 2.375 Inch Tenon Mount Grey Horizontal Tenon Grey Type 2M 3000K, Quantity: 8 units.

2. Solar Streetlight Pole: Custom - Round Tapered Aluminum, 30ft Mounting Height, 0.312 inch Wall Thickness, 8 inch Base Diameter, 4.5 inch Top Diameter, with a satin finish and additional features including an extra handhole and lowered mast arm assembly, Quantity: 4 units.

All items must meet or exceed City of Austin specifications and are subject to approval.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award. Delivery of goods must be completed by the specified due date of July 22, 2025.

The delivery location for the solar streetlight components is Austin Energy - St Elmo Service Center, located at 4411 Meinardus Dr, Austin, TX 78744.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:
- Submission of quotes on a FOB Destination basis with all freight charges included in the item price.
- Items quoted must meet or exceed City specifications.
- The City is exempt from Federal Excise and State Sales Tax; therefore, tax should not be included in quoted prices.
- Bidders must provide certification that they have not been adjudicated for wage theft related incidents within five years prior to submission.
