Solar Equipment Maintenance and Repair

Background
The City of Austin is seeking proposals for the maintenance and repair of existing solar-powered systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these systems are serviced, repaired, or replaced as needed to maintain their operational efficiency. The contractor will be responsible for providing services related to city-owned photovoltaic (PV) systems, which may include attachments to energy storage systems (ESS).

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of services including but not limited to: system maintenance, repair, reconditioning, component replacement, moving or relocating systems, incidental field design, inspections, troubleshooting, and other associated work as requested by the City.

The contractor must be prepared to address the specific needs of individual solar systems based on their condition and operational requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and continue until all obligations are fulfilled. The initial term may be extended at the City's discretion unless otherwise specified.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Austin where city-owned solar systems are installed.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must comply with the Minority-Owned Business Enterprise/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) Program Compliance Plan if applicable. They must also provide proof of relevant certifications such as NABCEP certification for personnel assigned to the project and possess a valid electrician's license issued by the State of Texas.
