The Education Service Center (ESC) Region 13, representing the Technology Alliance for Statewide Initiatives (TASI), is seeking proposals for a scalable software deployment solution aimed at enhancing cybersecurity across Texas Kâ12 school systems. Established in 1967, ESCs serve as regional support hubs for public educational entities in Texas, focusing on improving student performance and operational efficiency while implementing state and federal education initiatives.
Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a software deployment platform capable of supporting 400â1,000 school systems and managing 800,000â1,800,000 Windows endpoints with 800â1,600 administrative users/technicians. Key services include:
- Configuration of logically isolated environments for each participating school system.
- Automated software deployment and update management across all endpoints.
- Centralized management capabilities with delegated administrative control.
- Support for both locally managed and centrally managed deployments.
- Onboarding, configuration, and implementation support.
- Integration capabilities with third-party systems such as ticketing and workflow platforms.
- Maintenance including system updates and security patches.
Deliverables include a fully configured deployment platform, administrative access configurations, implementation documentation, training materials, and reporting capabilities on deployment status and system health.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on September 1, 2026, and will run through August 31, 2028. There is an option to extend the contract for up to two additional one-year terms until August 31, 2030.

The services will be performed across various locations within Texas as required by the participating school systems.
