EPWater is soliciting bids for 25% Sodium Chlorite, essential for drinking water treatment. The agency aims to procure this chemical to produce chlorine dioxide, a key component in the treatment process. The contract will be awarded based on the total number of line items and evaluation criteria as outlined in the solicitation.

Work Details
The contractor will provide 25% Sodium Chlorite for use in drinking water treatment. The product must meet specific requirements including:

1. Active ingredient (NaClO) concentration of 24-26% by weight.
2. Inactive ingredient (H2O) concentration of 74-76% by weight.
3. Specific gravity at 25°C between 1.20 and 1.25.
4. Must comply with ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals.
5. A current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and a Certificate of Analysis must accompany the bid proposal to ensure compliance with health standards.

Period of Performance
The contract term is one year from the award date, with an option to extend for four additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to EPWater facilities, specifically to the Robertson/Umbenhauer Water Treatment Plant located at 800 Canal Street, El Paso, Texas 79901.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current Safety Data Sheet (SDS), a Certificate of Analysis, and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding non-discrimination and safety standards. Additionally, bidders must confirm their status as either a Resident or Non-Resident Offeror under Texas law.
