Snack Vending Machine and Related Services (Commission-Based; Smart Snack Compliant) – Second and Final Term April 2026–August 2028

Background
Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is seeking supplemental proposals for a commission-based Snack Vending Machine and Related Services Agreement, starting immediately upon approval by the Board of Trustees for the 2025-2026 school year. The goal is to provide food and snack items that comply with State and Federal Smart Snack regulations, particularly for items sold during the instructional day. The District aims to achieve educational goals through financial support from vendors.

Work Details
The contract involves providing snack vending machines stocked with food and snack items that meet Smart Snack compliance regulations. Items sold during the instructional day must adhere to these regulations, while those sold after school hours do not require compliance. Vendors are expected to submit financial support information in their proposals for each District location served. The agreement excludes beverages due to an existing Exclusive Beverage Agreement with another provider. Vendors may be awarded based on their ability to supply comparable products or services, either through multiple awards or a single award at the District's discretion.

Period of Performance
The contract will run from April 2026 to August 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the Lewisville Independent School District, which encompasses 127 square miles and serves approximately 48,000 students across multiple municipalities.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must submit required bid attachments including a W-9 form, Certificate of Insurance, and a completed Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties). Vendors must also comply with insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability and Workers' Compensation policies. Additionally, vendors must certify that they do not engage in business with foreign terrorist organizations as defined by Texas law.
