Services To Survey Stakeholders With Brackish Groundwater Exploratory Projects

Background
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is seeking responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the award of a contract to perform a survey of stakeholders interested in data collaboration with TWDB on an exploratory brackish groundwater project. The Project aims to collaborate on data collection, develop positive stakeholder relations, promote the development of brackish groundwater, and gain a project-oriented snapshot of the current state of brackish groundwater development in Texas.

Work Details
The Project will include collaboration with TWDB to create survey questions, a survey of eligible stakeholders, scoring and ranking of stakeholders based on pre-determined weighted criteria, and a summary report. The awarded Contractor will be required to complete tasks such as stakeholder survey, field data collection and collaboration, project management, and stakeholder communication. The Contractor must have experience in project management of scientific studies for TWDB, technology transfer, internal progress-monitoring procedures, and quality assurance processes. The maximum total project cost will not exceed $400,000.

Period of Performance
The service requested (stakeholder survey) will start upon execution of the Contract and end on August 31, 2024, with potential extensions by amendment up to August 31, 2026.
