Background
The City of Austin is seeking qualified contractors for the inspection, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and repair of security systems at various City facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of City properties through effective alarm systems and surveillance equipment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services including but not limited to: inspection, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and repair of security systems. Specific tasks may involve updating existing burglary alarm control panels, power supplies, standby batteries and chargers, burglary system keypads, door alarms, and CCTV systems. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, and necessary equipment for these services.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all obligations are fulfilled. The offers are due on May 12, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various City facilities located in Austin, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must comply with the City's Living Wage Program. There are no specific MBE-WBE goals for this contract; however, if subcontractors are used, they must be approved by the City prior to engagement.
