Project Overview: The Schertz Cibolo Universal City Independent School District proposes to perform a renovation project consisting of Food Service serving line replacement, Overhead Security Grilles, new gypsum board on metal stud assemblies at Samuel Clemens High School Cafeteria. The project is located 1001 Elbel Rd., Schertz Tx 78154. Pre-Proposal Conference: A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal conference has been scheduled for 3:30 p.m on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the District Central Office Board Room, 1060 Elbel Road,Schertz, TX 78154. Proposals for RFCSP# 24-016C SCUCISD Samuel Clemens High School Serving Line Renovation will be accepted until the opening at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Bid Opening will take place immediately following 2:00 PM Deadline in the Purchasing Department Conference Room, 1056 Elbel Rd, Schertz, TX 78154. Consistent with Education Code 44.031(b) and applicable state rules, the District will open, evaluate and either accept or reject the proposal(s), based on the RFCSP's criteria. Consistent with Texas Government Code 552.104, proposals are not public information until a recommendation has been made to and accepted by the District's Board of Trustees. Proposal responses must be clearly identified with the RFCSP number, description, and to the attention of the Purchasing Department. The Purchasing Department may open unmarked submissions to properly identify them. Respondents are advised to correctly mark submissions to protect the integrity of the proposal. Respondents accept all responsibility for forwarding the proposal to the address above within the specified time or it is unresponsive. The Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the district and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the RFCSP process.
