Description

The Texas Military Department is seeking bids for the replacement and repair of the Saginaw Bldg.

22 Roof. This building is located at 748 East McLeroy Blvd, Saginaw, TX 76179. The facility is a 60+

year old metal hangar that is currently leaking and causing damage to both the facility and tenants'

materials and equipment. The Contractor shall supply all labor, tools, equipment, and materials

necessary to perform the work under the contract (TMD will supply Henry Roof Coating).

Please refer to the Scope of Work (SOW) (Attachment G.8) for full details. A mandatory site visit will be held at

748 East McLeroy Blvd, Saginaw, TX 76179 Building 22 at 10:00 A.M. AND 2:00 P.M. on 07/16/2025. Failure to

attend one of the two (2) site visits will result in disqualification of the response.

Background
The Texas Military Department is seeking bids for the replacement and repair of the Saginaw Bldg. 22 Roof, located at 748 East McLeroy Blvd, Saginaw, TX 76179. This facility is a 60+ year old metal hangar that is currently leaking and causing damage to both the facility and tenants' materials and equipment.

The goal of this contract is to restore the integrity of the roof to prevent further damage.

Work Details
The Contractor shall supply all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the work under the contract. The Texas Military Department will supply Henry Roof Coating.

The scope of work includes replacing and repairing the existing roof structure to ensure it is watertight and meets all applicable standards. Detailed specifications can be found in the Scope of Work (SOW) provided as Attachment G.8.

Period of Performance
Construction is required to commence on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by TMD, which will be issued within 90 days of contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Saginaw Bldg. 22, located at 748 East McLeroy Blvd, Saginaw, TX 76179.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with all state HUB requirements under Texas Government Code Chapter 2161 and must submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) as part of their response. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents.
