RFQ - Landscape Services for Various Clinics for Harris Health

Background
Harris Health is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to provide landscaping services at various clinics. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facilities maintain a clean, safe, and professionally landscaped appearance. The contract will begin on or about April 13, 2026, and may be extended for up to four additional one-year renewal options at the discretion of Harris Health.

Work Details
The vendor shall perform landscape maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, and seasonal flower changes. Specific tasks include:
- Mowing grass to a height between 1" and 1.5";
- Removing grass clippings from non-grassy areas;
- Pruning ornamental plants and maintaining landscape beds free of weeds;
- Trimming ground cover and replenishing mulch semi-annually;
- Quarterly installations of seasonal flowering plants;
- Fertilizing lawns quarterly and flowerbeds every two months;
- Inspecting for pests and applying pesticides as necessary with prior notice to Harris Health.

The vendor must also ensure proper waste disposal and provide inclement weather protection for plants.

Period of Performance
The contract term will begin on or about April 13, 2026, and will last for twelve (12) months with the possibility of four (4) one-year renewals.

- Acres Home Health Center
- Aldine Health Center
- Baytown Health Center
- Casa De Amigos Health Center
- El Franco Lee Health Center
- Gulfgate Health Center
- LBJ OPC Clinic
- Martin Luther King Jr. Health Center
- Northwest Health Center
- Pasadena Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center
- Quentin Mease Health Center
- Vallbona Health Center
- Settegast Health Center
- Smith Health Clinic.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must meet minimum qualifications outlined in the solicitation document. They are required to submit proof of insurance covering workers' compensation and general liability as specified in the minimum insurance requirements section. Additionally, vendors must complete the MWBE Goal Participation Information Packet.
