RFQ 2407-001 Architectural Firms for Public Works Projects

Background
Central Health, also known as the Travis County Healthcare District, is a hospital district established under Texas law to provide medical care to low-income residents of Travis County. Their mission focuses on improving community health, particularly for the uninsured and underinsured. Central Health is currently seeking to develop a Pre-Qualified List of architectural firms to assist with small to mid-sized public works projects, primarily involving renovation and adaptive reuse of properties in Travis County, Austin, Texas.

This initiative aligns with their Healthcare Equity Plan, which aims to address gaps in the healthcare system through significant investments.

Work Details
The selected architectural firms will provide a range of services including:

- Basic Services such as Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.
- Additional Services including Alternative Project Delivery Selection, Record Drawings, Sustainable Design, Urban Design, Bidding/Negotiating/Price Discussions, Project Management, 3D Renderings, Feasibility Studies, Mixed Use Architecture, Site Selection, Building Condition Audits, Space Planning, Full-Time Site Representation, Elevation Drawings, and Interior Design.

The projects are expected to have challenging timelines and will be primarily focused on existing and planned properties throughout Travis County.

Period of Performance
The Pre-Qualified List will remain effective for a duration of thirty-six (36) months from the date of establishment.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout Travis County and specifically in Austin, Texas.
