RFP for WEBSITE REDESIGN, HOSTING AND MAINTENANCE

Background
Workforce Solutions Capital Area Workforce Board (Board) is the leadership and governing body for the Austin-Travis County workforce system. The Board connects local people to quality jobs and provides specialized services at no cost, including career training, scholarships, and job search assistance.

The website serves nearly 100,000 active users annually and was last redesigned in 2020. The current site is hosted on WordPress using the Divi theme and has over 30 plugins that need optimization.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide comprehensive services including:
- **WordPress Website Redesign & Development**: Migrate content from Divi to Gutenberg and implement a user-friendly design.
- **Content Delivery Review**: Prioritize user experience and stakeholder journey in the redesign.
- **Website Hosting**: Secure, scalable hosting with ongoing maintenance and support.
- **Ongoing Support & Maintenance**: Regular updates, backups, technical support, and management of API integrations.

Deliverables include a responsive website design compliant with SEO best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA). The contractor will also conduct a content audit, stakeholder journey mapping, and provide performance metrics.

Period of Performance
The initial period of performance is anticipated to begin on or after April 28, 2025, through September 30, 2025. The contract may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods based on performance satisfaction.

The contract will be performed at Workforce Solutions Capital Area located at 9001 N I-35, Suite 110E, Austin, Texas 78753.
